Lingual Braces at York Place Dental

So, how about this....

Many people are put off having braces by images of Ugly Betty and being teased in the playground....so they tolerate their wonky teeth for life.

At York Place Dental we find that when we ask "What, if money was no object, would you do to change your smile?", the most common answers are:

1. I'd straighten my crooked teeth...

2. And then I'd have them whitened!

Yesterday we fitted a lingual brace to one of our patients. All the wires are there, but hidden round the back...a bit like this:

So theres no need to be self conscious anymore, and they're just as effective!

If you are one of those people, why not come and have a free assessment with one of our team?

We're also adding complimentary home whitening on all braces until the end of June!

Why not get in touch?

  3. There are various reasons why there are people that wear teeth braces. It is great that there are now available fashionable braces so that one would not worry of having a dorky appearance. A lot of people as well as Austin pediatric dentists (for example) are surely delighted with this innovation. Thanks for sharing.

Toothache: Aviod hot, and cold foods and avoid chewing in the painful area. Take over the counter pain medications that you would normally take for mild pain.

  8. With time with usage, bacteria out of your mouth accumulate within the toothbrush bristles and grow bacteria. So make sure to improve your toothbrush a minimum of every 3-4 several weeks or once the bristles are frazzled, as suggested through the Ada (ADA).
